Herefordshire Council's health and safety team provides general advice and guidance to the council on health, safety and wellbeing matters. You can also find more information on the Health and Safety Executive Education website and on the Government's health and safety advice for schools webpage

In accordance with the council's delegated funding scheme, schools (irrespective of status) can 'buy back' specialist health and safety advice by entering into a service level agreement with the health and safety team. To enable all schools and educational establishments (academies, voluntary aided, trust, foundation) to fully comply with these legislative requirements, the health and safety team can offer a comprehensive advisory service.
