Further assessment for a Blue Badge

If we need more evidence

If we have insufficient evidence to confirm your eligibility for a Blue Badge, we will pass your application to Able2 for further assessment. Able 2 are owned by NRS Healthcare.

Able2 deliver Blue Badge services to over 25 other councils across England and Wales. Their Occupational Therapists will ensure that the service is delivered fairly and equitably.

The Occupational Therapists will also be able to signpost you to other services relevant to your needs and also be able to directly order items of equipment to make life easier at home.

Once your application is passed to Able2, they will determine whether your application can be assessed without the need to see you or whether it would be more appropriate for you to be seen by an Occupational Therapist.

If you need to be seen, this will be at one of the monthly clinics at Plough Lane Offices, Hereford, HR4 0LE. The Occupational Therapist will undertake an assessment with you and will produce a written report to confirm whether you are entitled to a Blue Badge following the guidelines set out by the Department for Transport.

If your application is successful your Blue Badge will be processed within 10 days of your assessment taking place.
