Apply for a primary school place for September 2019
If your child was born between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015 you will need to apply for a reception class place for your child to start school in September 2019.
The online application process is open from 17 September 2018 to 15 January 2019. Use the link below to register and apply.
If you are unable to use this facility you will need to contact the school admissions team on 01432 260926 or 261574 to request a paper application.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your paper application form reaches our office. We recommend you return your completed application via recorded delivery or hand deliver it to Herefordshire Council, Plough Lane, Hereford, HR4 0LE.
We also advise contacting the school admissions team directly to ensure your application form has been received.

When we will notify you
The national offer date for reception class places is Monday 16 April 2019.
- If you applied online you will receive an automatic email
- If you submitted a paper application you will receive a letter in the post on 16 April 2019

Parents of children resident outside Herefordshire
If you are not resident in Herefordshire then you should obtain admission details from your home Local Authority (LA), even if your preferences include schools within Herefordshire. (The 'home' LA is defined as the Local Authority relevant to the child's home address).
If you wish to apply for a place at any Herefordshire school, you must complete an application provided by your 'home' LA. The 'home' LA will ensure that the application details are passed onto Herefordshire LA for consideration in the allocation of school places.
