Fees for notice of marriage and civil ceremonies
You can provisionally book a ceremony up to two years in advance. This will become a confirmed booking when you give notice of a marriage. You can give notice 12 months in advance of your ceremony.
Notice of marriage costs £35 per person. In addition to this fee, from 1 November 2017 consideration of divorce or civil partnership dissolution documentation issued outside of the British Isles will incur a fee of either £50 or £75.
If you would like a wedding certificate on your wedding day, it costs £11. You can pay online for a ceremony.
