Installation of VRM keypads on pay and display machines
We're beginning installation of new VRM keypads on pay and display parking machines across Herefordshire from today (16 April 2026). It will take around five days to complete. During the installation period, there may be some disruption or changes to how machines look and operate. Please take extra care to read the on-screen instructions and on-site signage when using pay and display machines. How to use the parking machines.
Changes to car park charges

JustPark is our official parking provider if you wish to pay online for council-owned parking spaces across the region. You can use it instead of cash or card payment in all Herefordshire Council public car parks and our on-street pay and display parking in Hereford.
Book and pay for parking sessions on the JustPark app, available to download free, from iOS and Android app stores.
Location ID
Each car park or parking location has its own ID which is displayed on the car parking signage. If location services are turned on for your phone, and you have already parked, tap Pay now and the app will display your location. Otherwise, you just need to find the location ID from the signage and enter and confirm it to start booking and paying for your parking.
