Support with domestic abuse

If you are experiencing domestic abuse, help is available. Major sporting events can be a difficult time for some people. If you are worried about your own safety, or that of someone you know, confidential support and advice are available on our domestic abuse page.

Items not suitable for rubbish collection

Please do not put the following in your general rubbish bin or black sack:

  • Recyclable items
  • Acids
  • Corrosive substances
  • Oil waste
  • Paint tins
  • Syringes and infectious waste
  • Garden waste
  • Rubble, stone, soil and gravel
  • DIY and construction waste, such as plaster board
  • Asbestos
  • Commercial waste
  • Hot ashes
  • Bulky waste
  • Hazardous waste
  • Electrical items
