Support with domestic abuse

Dropping litter on any land is an offence for which we can give you a £140 fixed penalty notice (reduced to £100 if paid within ten days).
Herefordshire's roads are swept regularly. We also work closely with Highways England to pick up litter on trunk roads, such as the A40 and A49.
There are also community litter picks organised by parish councils and other local organisations.
If you notice a build-up of litter in the street or along a road you can report it to us.
Our Environmental enforcement fixed penalty notices operational policy sets out the procedures and penalties which can be issued by authorised officers in relation to littering, flytipping and other environmental offences.
