Continuing to invest in our roads

Herefordshire Council is continuing to invest in the county’s roads, with a programme of resurfacing works taking place throughout May.

The council is investing an additional £13.5 million into the county’s highway network in 2025/26, with the following schemes planned for May:

B4224 - How Caple Grange to Little Owl Farm

B4224 - B4225 junction to Cross In Hand

B4361 - North of Luston - Derestriction to Lady Meadow Farm

B4360 - Bend at The Shrublands to surface joint at C1037, Kingsland

B4360 - North Road, Kingsland

A4103 - Fromes Hill

C1037 - Hostel Lane, Cobnash/Kingsland

Cllr Barry Durkin, Cabinet Member for Roads and Regulatory Services, said:

“I am delighted to see our additional investment in the county’s roads being delivered successfully. Investing in our county’s roads is a top priority, and the ongoing resurfacing work will help to improve the resilience of the network and deliver better journeys.

“The resurfacing taking place during May is just the latest element of our additional investment of £13.5million in roads across the county in 2025/26, which builds on our additional investment of £8 million last year.”
