Council tax, benefits and business rates
Herefordshire Council's net budget for 2016/17 is £148.0 million.
Central government gives us some funding, but most comes from council tax. If government funding changes, that affects how much we must raise through council tax.
We are working to save money by changing how our services are delivered. This means making better use of modern technology, while keeping the same quality of service.
