Community Right to Challenge

The Community Right to Challenge is a right introduced through the Government's Localism Act 2011.

It is one of a series of community rights which aims to enable communities to play a bigger role in shaping and running local services.

For further details on the Localism Act and the various rights, visit the Department for Communities and Local Government website and also the My Community Rights website.

We welcome the involvement of users, the wider community as well as our employees and other partners on how we might improve or redesign our services to more effectively meet the needs of local residents. Therefore, if you are interested in a particular service, would like to be involved in how a service could be designed or are interested in being a provider of a service in the future, please contact us at CommunityRighttochallenge@herefordshire.gov.uk

For more information on how we commission and procure our services please visit the Commissioning and procurement: Doing business with the council page.
