If you are concerned about the safety of an item you have bought, you can visit the government website on product recalls. Here you will find information on how to check the latest recalls, register your appliance and contact details for further information.

Take a look at the OPSS product safety alerts and reports of products posing a risk to the health and safety of consumers.

You can also report any concerns about the safety of products to Citizens Advice.

The Citizens Advice Consumer Service (CACS) provides first level consumer and business advice on behalf of Herefordshire Trading Standards.

This service works in partnership with us to offer clear, practical, first-level advice and information on a wide range of consumer issues.

More complex problems or complaints requiring further investigation or assistance will be referred to us or other advice services by the CACS, in accordance with an agreed protocol.
