Garden waste service - pre-registration

We are preparing to introduce a new separate subscription-based garden waste collection service from 31 March 2026. You can now pre-register for the service.

The service will be:

Fortnightly collection
Collected 50 weeks of the year, excluding the weeks in which Christmas Day and New Years Day fall
240 litre brown bin (alternative 4 x 60 litre reusable sacks if your property is unsuitable for a bin)
Up to 5 containers per property

The cost will be £60 for the year (per container/sack) with payment being taken upon sign up for the service, and payment for subsequent years will be taken via direct debit.

There will be an additional initial £10 delivery fee for the bins/sacks.

By pre-registering for the service, you will help inform the delivery of containers, the development of collection rounds and be given early access to sign up to the service prior to its launch.

We collect your recycling and general rubbish as normal on bank holidays, with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
