Legal services

About the Legal Services Team

Herefordshire Council has an in-house Legal Team that provides comprehensive, effective, expert, and value for money legal services to all council directorates.

We provide legal advice and representation on behalf of the council.

The Legal Team cannot provide legal services or advice to members of the public, as we can only act for the council and other public approved bodies.

Planning and planning mitigation agreements

For information about the planning agreement templates used for section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, see our Section 106 planning obligations page.

The best way to contact the Legal Team is directly to the named individual that is involved with your matter.
