Road safety training in secondary schools and colleges

Secondary schools

As children become increasingly independent we reinforce road safety messages with workshops to pupils in years 7 and 8, often during drop-down or cross curricular days.

We often share the day with other agencies delivering related PSHE topics.

To book a visit please email roadsafety@herefordshire.gov.uk

Sixths forms and colleges

We work closely with other agencies to reinforce important road safety messages at critical points in young people's lives.

West Mercia Police Safer Roads Partnership (SRP) deliver Green Light to 16-18 year old pupils in sixth forms and colleges.

Jointly we attend student events at Herefordshire and Ludlow College, Hereford Art College and Hereford Sixth Form College.

To book Green Light please contact West Mercia Safer Roads Partnership.

Your Impact road safety awareness course
