Whether you are heading to work or into town, from 1 January 2025 to 31 March 2027 a single bus journey will cost no more than £3 on most routes across England.

In Herefordshire several bus companies are taking part in the scheme - a full list of bus companies taking part are available on the gov.uk website, it also shows the routes that are NOT included in the scheme.

Please note:

  • The £3 fare cap scheme does not apply to services which run on school days only
  • From 1 April 2023, Lugg Valley and Yeomans Travel are no longer be part of this government scheme
