County Libraries Unit

The County Libraries Unit oversees all the Herefordshire libraries. We can help with:

  • General enquires about Herefordshire Libraries
  • Readers' group sets
  • Distribution of material to local libraries in Herefordshire - any deliveries or material for distribution must be approved in advance

County Libraries Unit location and opening hours

We are based at Merchant House, Burcott Road, Hereford HR4 9LW.

The Libraries Unit is not open to the general public. Deliveries and collections can be made by prior arrangement.

The unit is usually staffed during the hours below, but please contact libraries@herefordshire.gov.uk, first to avoid disappointment.

  • Monday to Friday: 9.30am to 12pm, 2pm to 4.30pm
  • Closed Saturdays and Sundays
