Active projects
Our commitment to an inclusive, community-driven approach to heritage is reflected in several key projects:
A transformational project that will introduce new exhibits, enhanced accessibility, and updated spaces, funded by Herefordshire Council, Stronger Hereford and lottery players through the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Arts Council England.
Revealing our Roots
A collaborative project aimed at exploring and sharing local histories, with a focus on community involvement funded by the Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund via The Museums Association.
The Sensational Museum Project
A sector-leading initiative that focuses on representation, inclusion, and sensory accessibility in museum experiences funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and supported by national partners.
Voices of the Wye
A unique oral history project capturing the stories and heritage of communities along the River Wye.
