History Store

The History Store serves as the main office for Herefordshire Museums and Galleries and is home to the county's stored collections, including art, archaeology, costume, social history, and natural sciences. Equipped with modern facilities, the History Store provides essential spaces for conservation, documentation, research, and education, ensuring the long-term care and preservation of Herefordshire's heritage.

Atrium

While public tours and research visits are paused during the redevelopment of Hereford Museum and Art Gallery, the History Store typically offers behind-the-scenes tours and school workshops, giving visitors a rare look at the vital work that goes into safeguarding the county's collections.
