Early Help strategy

The Early Help strategy plays a key role in securing outcomes set out in Herefordshire's Children and Young People's Plan 2020 - 2024. It also contributes to meeting the commitments of the Families First programme and the delivery of Herefordshire's Health and Wellbeing Strategy.

An updated Early Help strategy has recently been drafted and includes information on the new Early Help Hub and the vision to provide children and their families with the right help at the right time.

Early help is everyone's responsibility including early year's settings, schools, colleges, the NHS, mental health services, Police, housing associations, community groups, the voluntary sector and council.

The ethos within early help is to work holistically with the whole family and bring about sustained change to leave the family stronger, in control of their own lives.
