Becky's story

Becky lives with Shared Lives carers Dave and Ali Evans. She moved to Herefordshire from south east Wales in November 2015 aged 18. She has lived with Ali and Dave for 9 years. Becky has a mild learning disability and with the support of Shared Lives carers has grown into a confident and increasingly independent young woman which you can see in her story. Thanks to Becky for providing voice-over on the video - great job!

Becky says, "I love living with my Shared Lives family. I feel safe and very settled. My life would not be the same if I did not live where I am now. I love that I can be independent and meet my friends, and go places and on holiday as part of my Shared Lives family."
