Discover the rewarding journey of fostering with Herefordshire Council.

We recognise and celebrate the contribution of LGBTQ+ individuals and families in providing safe and nurturing environments for children in care.

We extend a warm invitation to members of the LGBT+ community to explore the fulfilling opportunity of fostering with Herefordshire Council.

Although more LGBTQ+ families have been adopting children in recent years, the same cannot be said for fostering. We believe that everyone has the potential to make a profound difference in the lives of children and young people in care.

We are proud members of New Family Social, a leading UK charity supporting LGBTQ+ fostering and adoption. Upon approval, our LGBTQ+ foster families receive complimentary new family social memberships to access additional support and resources.

We invite you to join us at our fostering events in Herefordshire, where you can engage with our welcoming team, learn about the assessment process, and discover the diverse range of children currently seeking loving foster homes.
