Free activities for children with the new Change4Life and Disney 10 Minute Shake Up campaign
Children in Herefordshire are being encouraged to get active this summer with the new Change4Life and Disney campaign.
10 Minute Shake Up has lots of new and exciting ten minute games and activities for children to play as part of four Disney teams: Big Hero 6, Frozen, Monsters and Toy Story. By picking their favourite team and completing as many Shake Up activities as they can throughout the summer children can help their chosen Disney team win.
To sign up, visit www.nhs.uk/10-minute-shake-up and register to receive a free Disney inspired 10 Minute Shake Up pack, which includes a fantastic team wristband with timer (while stocks last), activity cards, a wild card for children to invent their own Shake Ups, a team poster and stickers. The campaign also provides regular online content to keep children inspired and moving over the summer.
This page is for information about enforced school closures - closures due to adverse weather, such as snow or flooding, or problems with buildings, such as no heating or electricity or burst pipes. Schools are also closed in school holidays. For details of school holidays and teacher training days visit the school term dates page.
The decision to close, for whatever reason, lies with the head teacher and governing body of each individual school, not the council.
This is an automatic system showing alerts directly from Herefordshire's schools in alphabetical order. Please check the time and date of the alert. If your school is not listed it means that the school has not posted an alert. You can also view information for just:
You can also subscribe to the whole list of schools or any individual schools that interest you. It is up to you. Subscription to a school means that you will receive an email when an alert is posted by that school so you will not need to keep checking these pages.
