Support with domestic abuse

If you are experiencing domestic abuse, help is available. Major sporting events can be a difficult time for some people. If you are worried about your own safety, or that of someone you know, confidential support and advice are available on our domestic abuse page.

Report illegal building work

It is our policy to provide a building control service, which gives our customers the necessary support and guidance to help them meet the building regulations and get it right from the start. However, we do recognise that there are some who will deliberately attempt to avoid their legal obligations, carrying out building work illegally or to unacceptable quality standards. In these cases, enforcement action is often necessary.

If you believe there is work being carried out illegally, or you know of works which appear to be below building regulations standards, you can report it to our building control team using the details below.
