With Herefordshire Council set to debate a motion on climate change at its meeting on Friday 8 March, arrangements are being made to extend capacity for members of the public to attend.
The council chamber at Shire Hall can accommodate up to 90 observers. With a high level of interest in the meeting anticipated, seating for an extra 40 people is being made available in the grand jury room, with live streaming from the meeting.
The meeting is due to start at 10am. Those wishing to attend are advised to arrive from 9.30am.
There will also be the option to listen to a live audio-stream from the meeting via your computer or smart phone. Go to the council website at www.herefordshire.gov.uk/meetings then click on council and the date.
The audio stream will appear online at the start of the meeting, as a blue and black bar on screen as below.
