The consultation, which focuses on walking and cycling improvements south of the River Wye will finish Tuesday 25 October
After four weeks of consultation in several locations in South Wye, the South Wye Active Travel Measures Consultation exhibition will spend its last two weeks at the Hereford Leisure Pool where it will stay until the consultation ends on Tuesday 25 October.
The consultation, which focuses on walking and cycling improvements south of the River Wye, was launched at the Three Counties Hotel and has also been displayed at the Business Solutions Centre in Rotherwas, the Kindle Centre and Tesco, Belmont.
We are asking for the public's views on a range of walking, cycling, speed limits and traffic calming measures throughout the area. The measures form part of a package with the Southern Link Road (first phase of Hereford Bypass).
Councillor Phillip Price, cabinet member infrastructure said:
"I've been pleased with the high level of interest shown in the exhibitions, which has been mirrored by over two hundred of consultation questionnaires being submitted by post and online.
We hope that keeping the exhibitions accessible by displaying them in locations with naturally high footfall will mean that we are making it easy for people to let us know what they think."
The exhibition panels will be available to view at Hereford Leisure Pool from Wednesday 12 October until the consultation ends on Tuesday 25 October. The consultation exhibition and questionnaire can also be accessed online at https://www.herefordshire.gov.uk/south-wye-transport-package
