It's the 40th anniversary of the Ross Carnival this weekend and it promises to be spectacular, free parking available in all Herefordshire Council run Ross carparks for the whole day.
The Ross-on-Wye Carnival has been held on the first Saturday in August every year since 1977, making it the town's oldest community tradition.
The carnival is organised by a team of local volunteers and the event is supported by many of Ross-on-Wye's businesses and charities.
Every year the annual procession makes its way around the town's centre, showing off a magnificent display of floats and fancy dress. The procession ends at the Ropewalk with a fun fair, many different stalls and a wide range of food and drink.
You can see a map of the full procession route.
There is also free parking available in all Herefordshire Council run carparks for the whole day.
