Free interactive events are being help this Saturday (8 March) to give participants the opportunity to experience the Herefordshire Hoard close at hand.
Slots are available at 12-1.30 pm at the Museum Resource and Learning Centre in Friar’s Street, Hereford HR4 0AS.
During the sessions, participants will be able to touch and explore stunning high-quality replicas of the Herefordshire Hoard, one of the most significant Viking treasures ever discovered in Western Britain. They can also expect:
- Insightful talks from expert curators about the Hoard’s discovery and significance
- A fascinating look into the largest police heritage crime investigation in the UK
- A fun and educational experience, suitable for all ages
The events are perfect for families, history enthusiasts and anyone curious about the past.
