Cabinet members and their portfolio responsibilities confirmed
Councillor Jonathan Lester, Leader of Herefordshire Council, has today announced his Cabinet member appointments and the portfolios they will be responsible for.
The Leader will direct the council’s corporate policy and strategy and have overall budget responsibility.
Cabinet members are:
Councillor Elissa Swinglehurst Deputy Leader, Environment
Councillor Harry Bramer Community services and assets
Councillor Ivan Powell Children and young people
Councillor Pete Stoddart Finance and corporate services
Councillor Carole Gandy Adult health and wellbeing
Councillor Graham Biggs Economy and growth
Councillor Barry Durkin Roads and regulatory services
Councillor Philip Price Transport and infrastructure
Councillor Dan Hurcomb and Councillor Nick Mason will be providing Cabinet support.
