A fun, hands on exhibition, suitable for all ages takes place this weekend

A new exhibition from Herefordshire councils museum service, Museum on the Move, hits the streets this weekend.

The new look exhibition will be in High Town in Hereford this Saturday showcasing the new exhibition, Spun Gold - the rich history of wool in Herefordshire

The amazing story of wool from sheep to shawl, is told through fascinating objects from the Herefordshire museum collections.

It is a fun, hands on exhibition, suitable for all ages with friendly staff available at all times to help you make the most of your visit.

There is also an opportunity to meet the Museums on the Move's new Ryeland sheep and we need your help to choose a name for her.

The exhibition vehicle has fully disabled access.

If you would like to book a visit for the museum on the move to visit your venue, group or event, please contact 01432 383383 or  Email: herefordmuseums@herefordshire.gov.uk.
