Businesses across Herefordshire can now support employees to walk, cycle or work from home with a business TravelFund grant.
Grants of up to £3,000 are available to fund facilities such as workplace lockers, pool bikes, cycle parking and homeworking equipment.
The grants can fund up to 100% of the cost of new facilities or equipment, up to the maximum £3,000. Any business or other organisation in Herefordshire with paid employees can apply - as long as they have been in operation for at least one year.
Herefordshire Council's TravelFund aims to help local organisations show their commitment to environmentally friendly business by supporting their employees to walk or cycle for commuting and business journeys or to work from home, while also making it easier for customers to visit their business premises by bike. TravelFund grants are funded by the Department for Transport.
The final deadline for submitting your application is Wednesday 27 October 2021.
