Police and Crime Commissioner Elections, Local by-elections and Neighbourhood Planning Referendums to take place on 6 May

Herefordshire Council’s electoral services has announced that various Local by-elections and Neighbourhood Planning Referendums will take place alongside the Police and Crime Commissioner elections on Thursday 6 May 2021.   

There will be one ward election (if contested) as follows:

Newton Farm

9 parish / parish ward elections (if contested) as follows:

Brampton Bryan

Brockhampton with Much Fawley

Bromyard West (two seats)

Dilwyn

Eaton Bishop

Hereford, Bobblestock

Hereford, Newton Farm

Ross-on-Wye, Ross East

Walford (six seats)
 

13 Neighbourhood Planning Referendums as follows:

Allensmore

Ashperton

Brampton Abbots and Foy Group

Bredenbury and District Group

Clehonger

Colwall

Garway

Linton

Madley

Much Birch

Ross-on-Wye

Stretton Grandison Group

Titley Group

To vote in the Elections on Thursday 6 May, you must:

  • Be 18 or over on the day of election
  • Be a British, Irish, qualifying Commonwealth or EU citizen
  • Be resident at an address in England or Wales
  • Be registered to vote

The deadline to register to vote for these elections is midnight on Monday 19 April 2021. If you are not registered or have recently moved house you can register to vote online at www.gov.uk/registertovote. You will need your national insurance number, but it only takes 5 minutes to register.
