Celebrate Christmas with Santa at the Old House Hereford
Families can enjoy a traditional Christmas at the Old House Hereford this December, including opportunities for children to meet Father Christmas!
Santa will be at the Old House Hereford on Saturday 13 December from 10am-4pm and Sunday 14 December from 11am-4pm. On Sunday 14th, we’re offering an accessible session with Santa on the ground floor at 11am.
You will meet Santa in the cosy surroundings of this beautifully decorated 17th century home, in the heart of Hereford. Children can share their Christmas wishes with Santa and will receive a small seasonal gift. All the family can get involved in festive crafts and hands-on activities around the House too.
Please book your place(s) in advance via Eventbrite. Tickets are £8.50 for a child and adult. Additional adult tickets can be purchased on the door for our normal admission fee of £4.00 each.
Damian Etheraads, Head of Culture, Libraries and Archives at Herefordshire Council, said:
With the Old House dressed for the season, this is a chance to enjoy Christmas in a place that already feels magical. Families will be able to step into a historic home at its festive best and create memories that last well beyond the holidays.
From Monday 1 December until Sunday 4 January, you can also take part in a special ‘Elf Trail’ at the Old House Hereford. Some cheeky elves have snuck into Father Christmas’ workshop and hidden some of the toys meant for Christmas morning. Your task is to follow the clues to find where they’re hidden around the Old House. This is a free event with entry to the Old House and kids (aged under 16 years) go free!
