The Wigmore Teaching School Alliance is the Appropriate Body for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) in Herefordshire.

The Wigmore Teaching School Alliance are a growing network of schools who share a vision of pooling talent, expertise and resources to provide exceptional education for all our pupils. They are committed to school improvement through a system of partnerships that draw upon the wide expertise of Specialist Leaders of Education (SLEs) within our network of schools in the region. They are part of the Hereteach Alliance.

The Hereteach Alliance is a network of schools that is building from the DfE drive to create a school led system. The Hereteach Alliance is a growing network of experienced, innovative and enthusiastic teachers and staff. They enable more people in schools, colleges and universities to work together for the benefit of providing an excellent education for young people and students throughout Herefordshire and beyond.

The Hereteach Alliance have many different programmes in place. All are the result of various groups of teachers wanting to collaborate and share expertise as well as discovering how to innovate in a fast changing technological and political climate.
