Wellbeing, Information and Signposting for Herefordshire
WISH (Wellbeing Information and Signposting for Herefordshire) is a service provided by Herefordshire Council in partnership with Services for Independent Living (SIL).
It provides lots of information online, by phone or face to face to support the wellbeing of all adults, children, young people and families across Herefordshire.
WISH has been developed to help you or someone you care for live as safely and independently as possible.
It aims to provide you with the information you need to support your wellbeing and ensure your care needs are met.
You can use the service to find out about things like:
- Care and support
- How to stay healthy
- Ways to support living independently
- All sorts of activities and clubs in your area
From Zumba to bell ringing, childcare to parenting, carer's support to managing money, WISH offers information about all sorts of things to help you feel happier and healthier.
Where appropriate WISH will signpost you to other organisations and agencies that can provide support and advice.
Herefordshire's online directory
You can use the WISH directory to find organisations, support groups and services, as well as a range of activities that are happening in your local community and across Herefordshire.
Visit WISH and find out more
The website, including all its information, is available to everyone. So professionals, such as GPs, can also use the site to find out what support is available in Herefordshire for the people they work with.
Telephone and face to face support is provided by local charity Services for Independent Living (SIL) through a dedicated team of people.
If you can’t find the information you are looking for and need further guidance, or you need some help to find services and activities in the directory, then please contact the WISH team.
