There are about 500 Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) in Herefordshire, covering approximately 743,000 individual trees. The orders cover individual trees, groups of trees, areas of trees and woodlands.

You can view copies of TPOs held by the council. Please email us with details of the TPO you wish to see.
Ash dieback disease
Ash dieback disease (Chalara) has now been formally recorded in the county.
Please remember that Ash trees often don't come into leaf until late May.
If you think you have spotted diseased Ash trees, please check the symptoms using the video and information available on the Forestry Commission website before reporting it to them using the Tree Alert form .
