T1. English Oak (Quercus robur). This tree is causing concern to the
residents of Woodfield gardens as it drops dead branches frequently and more recently has shed a reasonably large branch that landed in the entrance of the parking area. This area and the pavement beneath the canopy of this tree has a high frequency of pedestrian and vehicular traffic, a large proportion of which are elderly. The tree has lots of indications of stress and die-back with dead wood present on the tips of almost every limb.
