Proposal	The tree is a portugese laurel. The tree has grown very tall as it has never been trimmed to remain a shrub/bush and we would like to reduce it's height to about 4ft so that it does not overshadow other smaller nearby trees, plants and garden. The arborist has proposed this plan of action as there is another portugese laurel within a few feet of this one and as you can see from the photos, the south west side of the tree, which we would like to trim, is challenged for lightbecause the other portugese laurel is broader and more dominant.
