Large Lime (T1) on front drive of property. Requesting permission to
remove completely or to pollard to reasonable height. Tree has been pollarded in the past and as such has inherent weaknesses at the old pollard locations. Debris including branches 2-3" in diameter have fallen on residents cars causing damage. Near misses with pedestrians have been witnessed on the pavement under the tree at the front. Tarmac of driveway being lifted by roots. Evidence of fungal growth atbase of tree. The tree is large and poses a significant threat to the busy road directly underneath it and also to the garden center across the road.
