School's waste education pack
The school's waste education pack contains lots of information, facts and activities about waste and recycling.
By using the information and working through the activities pupils will gain an understanding of various waste management topics, including:
- The waste hierarchy and the three Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle, recover and dispose)
- Recycling, what happens to all the materials collected (paper, card, plastics)
- Home composting
More information and activities will be added to help pupils with their understanding of waste and the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling.
