Supporting the emotional health and wellbeing of parents

We run a range of courses for parents and guardians who would like to have a little extra support, information and advice when it comes to bringing up children and young people, including children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). All are run by support workers who are trained to deliver Solihull courses and Triple P programmes.

To book a course, email CHAT@herefordshire.gov.uk or complete the referral form.

A record of success

Our results are good, so much so that Triple P use our work with families in Herefordshire in their video case histories. Here you can see how we helped one Herefordshire mum deal with a demanding first child, and another develop a new relationship with her six children who were out of control for her, but not for her husband.

These courses aim to support you in the most difficult job in the world. We know it works because parents tell us how much more they are enjoying their family life.

"This course has been an absolutely invaluable gift to me. It has changed so many aspects of my life. I am undoubtedly a better parent and a more fulfilled person as a result. Some aspects literally have been like 'Eureka' moments to me."

"It doesn't work all the time but bit by bit we are working towards a less confrontational household."
