A film, supper and storytelling experience
As part of Refugee Week, the evening includes: - A screening of Flee (15), a stunning animation that tells the story of Amin Nawabi’s extraordinary journey as a child refugee from Afghanistan. - A dining experience in The Courtyard Chase Lounge where guests can sample authentic Syrian, Iranian and Ukrainian recipes. - Alongside the dining experience, local storytellers Temi Odurinde and Austin Keenan will regale diners with stories of refugee journeys. The screening of Flee (15) will begin at 5pm. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Herefordshire-based charity City of Sanctuary. Herefordshire City of Sanctuary is a volunteer led community organisation, working to help those seeking sanctuary, safety from violence, poverty and war.
