An exhibition exploring how valued young Polish people feel in contemporary British society

With thanks to funding from Heritage Lottery Young Roots fund, the Rural Media Company worked with young people from Whitecross High School, Hereford, on a project to explore how valued young Polish people feel in contemporary British society. The exhibition, which is accessible to young people, provides additional narrative to fill in much of the political context of the Polish involvement in World War Two as well as telling the story of several veterans with local connections, who the students met on their film-making journey. The exhibition can be found at Herefordshire Archive and Records Centre (HARC), Fir Tree Lane, Hereford HR2 6LA from 3 May-1 July 2022 (HARC opening hours are 10am-4pm Tues-Fri).
