The well established Hereford Police Male Voice Choir perform their best known works together with guest soprano soloist, Eleanor Dunn.
Situated in the beautiful church of St Mary Magdalene in Leintwardine, This choir achieved national recognition in 2008 when it participated in the BBC competition, The Last Choir Standing, performing on television a number of times and reaching the final stages of the competition. For more than 10 years, the Choir has organised a Bursary Competition for young musicians, awarding a top prize of £1000 annually and offering performance opportunities. Eleanor Dunn, the most recent winner, will perform at this concert. Today, Hereford Police Male Choir’s ranks are open to men from all walks of life. The choir rehearses in Hereford Courtyard Theatre at 7.15pm each Tuesday and new members are welcome.
