A song recital, in aid of the Friends of Hereford Chamber Choir, given by tenor Simon Harper and pianist Eleanor Perks, exploring the themes of nature, love and music, and how these have shaped and influenced our lives over the pandemic. Programme to include Butterworth’s A Shropshire Lad, Fauré’s Cinq Mélodies de Venise, and songs by Britten, Finzi and Schubert. The concert will take place at 7.30 pm on Saturday 25 September 2021 at Holy Trinity Church, Whitecross Road, Hereford, HR4 0DU. Tickets are £14 in advance, £15 on the door, £5 for students, and free for Friends of Hereford Chamber Choir, available from www.herefordchamberchoir.org.uk or by contacting 01873 860 343.
