Artist Rosemary Terry and writer Julia Brant have collaborated to make a traditionally bound artists’ book: 'Confluence'.

Both seek to capture a moment in nature in the changing seasons.

Through her woodcuts Rosemary Terry tracks the seasons, through the appearance of trees, plants and birds, sun, moon and water, and the weather, throughout the year.

When Julia Brant first encountered the Japanese form of haiku poetry, she was inspired to write in a discipline that captures in minimal form the fleeting moments of human life and passing time as reflected in and by the natural world.

The two disciplines come together in this limited-edition book and an exhibition of prints and texts in the gallery. For one weekend only, come and join us to be inspired by this beautiful work. Our pop-up café will be open as usual for light refreshments.
