In the year that has brought The Bard’s fans to Herefordshire, this workshop will get you to grips with the handwriting that was current locally in his day. By the end, you will be familiar with the principles of secretary hand in use in the 16th and early 17th centuries and have the confidence to tackle the trickiest of documents.
