Polling districts and places consultation 2014
The council is holding a consultation to review the county’s polling districts and polling stations.
The consultation follows changes to the county’s ward boundaries by The Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE), which will see 53 councillors representing 53 single-member wards and is in compliance with the Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013.
It is the council’s responsibility to ensure that all electors in Herefordshire have a reasonably local polling station which has adequate facilities to allow them to vote in person at election time. We welcome comments from residents who have knowledge of their local area and available facilities, especially those with accessibility for disabled voters.
The consultation will be available from Monday 3 February until Friday 25 April.
