Coronavirus updates

For the latest information, and to sign up for updates, on how Coronavirus is affecting our services across the county

Information about enforced school closures can be found in the list below. These closures are usually due to adverse weather, such as snow or flooding, or problems with buildings, such as no heating or electricity or burst pipes. For details of school holidays and teacher training days visit the school term dates page. The decision to close, for whatever reason, lies with the headteacher and governing body of each individual school, not the council.

This is an automatic system showing alerts directly from Herefordshire's schools in alphabetical order, so please check the time and date of the alert. If your school is not listed it means that the school has not posted an alert.

You can subscribe to the whole list of schools or any schools that interest you. You will receive an email when an alert is posted by your chosen school/s so you will not need to keep checking these pages.

You can also follow the school alerts on our school Twitter feed or on our Herefordshire Council Twitter feed
