Emergency closures

Where public rights of way are found to be in a condition which is considered to be dangerous for use by the public, an emergency closure order can be issued with immediate effect. The affected section of path can be closed for a maximum of 21 days to enable our contractor on behalf of Herefordshire Council to repair it, or to make a temporary closure for a longer period. Emergency closures are only advertised on the ground at strategic points close to the affected route.

You can view and download any current emergency closure orders below.
