Information held about you

Herefordshire Council's network management plan sets out the requirements for the safe and efficient movement of people and goods on the network.

Delivery of effective network management and regulation of activity assists in meeting this requirement and in discharging legal duties under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, The Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996, Traffic Management Act 2004 and New Roads and Street Works Act 1991.

This will be achieved by effective management of the network through regulation, coordination, licencing and, where appropriate, enforcement activities of our service delivery and that of external third parties (for example statutory undertakers, neighbouring highway authorities, developers and hauliers).
